Contract Formation
By placing an order with Mama Ready Ltd, you enter into a legally binding contract. We reserve the right to decline any order (e.g., due to stock unavailability or pricing errors).
Pricing & Payment
All prices are in GBP (£). We reserve the right to change prices at any time; however, the price at the time of your order is the price you will pay. Payments are processed securely via [Insert Provider, e.g., Shopify Payments/Stripe].
Product Representation
As a luxury brand, we strive for 100% accuracy in our imagery. However, due to the artisanal nature of some items (e.g., leather grain on bags), slight variations may occur. If a specific item within a pre-packed bag is out of stock, we will replace it with an item of equal or higher luxury value.
2. Cancellation Policy
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order from the moment you place it until 14 days after you receive your goods.
- How to Cancel: You must inform us via email at [Insert Email] with your order number.
- Before Shipment: If you cancel before the item has been dispatched, we will issue a full refund immediately.
- After Shipment: If the item has already been sent, you must follow the Return Policy below. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item unless it is faulty.
3. Return & Refund Policy
We want every “Mama Ready” experience to be perfect. However, due to the nature of our products, strict hygiene rules apply.
The “Hygiene Exception” (Important)
Under UK law, the right to cancel does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they become unsealed after delivery.
- Non-returnable items if opened: Maternity pads, breast pads, nipple creams, skincare, perianal sprays, and intimate apparel (disposable underwear).
- To receive a full refund: The luxury bag and all internal contents must be returned in their original, unopened, and unused condition with all security seals intact.
Returns Window
- Change of Mind: You have 14 days from receipt to notify us of a return and a further 14 days to send it back.
- Faulty Goods: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a product is faulty (e.g., a broken zip on a luxury bag), you have a right to a full refund within 30 days.
How to Return

- Ensure the bag is packed securely in its original outer “Keepsake” box to prevent damage.
- Use a tracked shipping service. We recommend keeping your proof of postage.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.
4. Delivery & Liability
- Delivery: We aim to dispatch all bags within [X] working days. Mama Ready is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers once the item has left our Sittingbourne facility.
- Damaged Goods: Please inspect your package upon arrival. If the outer packaging is significantly damaged, please take photos and contact us within 48 hours.

At Mama Ready, we want your journey to motherhood to be as calm and seamless as possible. We take immense pride in the quality of our curated bags. If your order isn’t quite what you expected, we are here to help you resolve it quickly and without stress.
The “Mama Ready” 14-Day Window
You have 14 days from the day your bag arrives to decide if it’s right for you. If you change your mind, simply notify us at returns@mamaready.co.uk to begin your return.
The Hygiene & Safety Rule
To protect the health and safety of you and your newborn, we have a strict policy regarding the contents of our bags.
- The Security Seal: Every “Mama Ready” bag arrives with a branded security seal.
- Returns Condition: We can only accept returns for a full refund if the bag is unused and the internal security seals are intact. * Non-Returnable Items: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on individual skincare, maternity pads, or intimate apparel once the internal pouches have been opened.
Faulty or Damaged Items
We hand-pack every bag in our Sittingbourne boutique, but if something has gone wrong during transit or a product is faulty, we will make it right immediately. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we will arrange a priority replacement or refund.
How to Make a Return
- Start Your Request: Email us with your Order Number and the reason for your return.
- Pack with Care: Please use the original protective “Mama Ready” keepsake box to ensure the bag reaches us in perfect condition.
- Ship It Back: We recommend using a tracked service for peace of mind. (For our Deluxe customers, please contact us to arrange a complimentary courier collection).
- The Refund: Once we’ve checked that the seals are intact, we will process your refund to your original payment method within 5–7 working days.
A Local Note for Kent Mamas
If you are located in or near Sittingbourne, you are welcome to drop off your return at our boutique headquarters to save on shipping costs. Simply select “Local Return” when you email us.
